제목 | Revealing kinetic parameters for the reaction between silicon and lithium |
초록 | Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are studied extensively due to its various applications, such as electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and portable devices. As one of research branches in this field, many active materials have been studied to increase energy density and power density. Among various promising active materials, silicon is highlighted because of its high theoretical capacity and low price. However, the most researches are weighted to making silicon nanostructures to relieve volume expansion, and its reaction mechanism takes relatively small attentions. Though, revealing reaction mechanism is also important part. In this research, we tried to find some clues related to reaction mechanism and differentiate kinetic parameters using various electrochemical analyses. These findings can help to understand the reaction between silicon and lithium, and give strategies to enhance power performance of silicon. |
