Engineering of graphene oxide nanosheets decorated with synthesized silver and copper nanoparticles for antibacterial agents |
초록 |
The conjugation of multiple nanomaterials with different dimensions – such as spherical nanoparticles and high aspect-ratio graphene oxide (GO) – may increase the target-specific antibacterial capacity of the consequent nanostructure while retaining an optimal biocompatibility. In this study, GO is treated with a mixture of acids and decorated with silver (Ag) and copper (Cu) nanoparticles at a same time via a chemical reduction of Ag and Cu cations by NaBH4. The synthesized Ag/Cu-GO complexes are characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffractometery (XRD), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). The antibacterial function of Ag/Cu-GO is evaluated against different bacteria. |
