제목 Water-soluble binder providing high Li-ion conductive CEI for 5 V spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cathode
초록 Spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 (LNMO) cathode has been having considerable attention from battery community because of their low-cost, high operating voltage (~4.7V) and excellent rate performance. Operating over 4.7 V grant high power ability, meanwhile it induced severe oxidative decomposition of conventional organic based electrolyte which triggers capacity fading. This work first time reported water-soluble binder that not only could uniformly covered LNMO surface which can effectively negate the electrolyte oxidation but also constructed high Li-ion conductive cathode-electrolyte interphase (CEI). To elucidate this novelty come from, LNMO electrode with above binder were analyzed by XPS, TEM, SEM, 4PP and various electrochemical experiments.
