제목 A study on the synthetic method of 2,3-dimethyl-2,3-dinitrobutane
초록 This study is to provide a method of synthesis of 2,3-dimethyl-2,3-dinitrobutane which can be carried out easily and economically on a large scale industrially without any greate safety risks. Plastic explosive are required by international law to be tagged with a chemical marking agent. 2,3-Dimethyl-2,3-dinitrobutane has been identified as the most suitable explosives taggant, as it does not affect explosive characteristics, such as shelf life and stability. We have studied method for producing 2,3-dimethyl-2,3-dinitrobutane, particularly in high yields, using a wide variety of synthetic process from 2-nitropropane. It was identified that 2,3-dimethyl-2,3-dinitrobutane producted from our synthetic process has met or exceeded all of the specification requirements of CID(commercial item description) No. A-A-59410, dated 18 March 1999 by U.S. Department of Defense.
