Highly Conductive Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):Poly(styrene sulfonate) Films for ITO Replacement in Polymer Solar Cells |
초록 |
Organic photovoltaics (OPVs) have received attention as low-cost power sources of the next generation due to many attractive features such as low-cost, flexibility, light weight and so on. Among these, mechanically flexible property and low cost will be significantly important factors for printable organic based electronics. However, the brittleness and high cost of ITO used as transparent electrodes weaken the advantage of OPVs. It should be replaced by other materials such as conducting polymer and carbon based electrodes. Herein, we have investigated solution processible and flexible poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) as a transparent electrode to achieve low-cost and high-performance ITO-free organic solar cells based on poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and 1-(3-methoxycarbonyl)-propyl-1-phenyl-(6,6)C61 (PCBM). In addition, various efforts have been tried to enhance the electrical and optical properties of PEDOT:PSS film. |
