제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Hybrid Polypropylene-grafted Graphene Oxide
초록 Graphene/polymer composites have emerged as an attractive material because the mechanical as well as other physical properties (electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, barrier property) can be simultaneously enhanced to fulfill the requirements of many practical applications.Polypropylene (PP) is a well-known semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer which has been extensively applied in many fields.Graphene/polymer nanocomposites are usually prepared by physically blend mixing graphene and polymer.In this study, Polypropylene-grafted graphene oxide(PP-grafted GO) were produced from the reaction of PP containing the hydroxyl groups and GO having 2-bromoisobutyryl groups by using covalent bonding.PP-OH composites were prepared by solution mixing in o-xylene. PP-grafted GO were homogeneously dispersed in the PP matrix.The good miscibility of PP and PP-grafted GO plays a critical role in the formation of the homogeneous composites and leads the high thermal stability and conductivity.
