제목 Preparation and release behavior of nano-sized phospholipids liposomes encapsulating protein
초록 Vesicles such as liposomes, prepared from phospholipids and niosomes, prepared from non ionic surfactants have been studied as delivery system. There are currently a number of commercially available liposomal formulations. In this research, the nano-sized liposomes were prepared using the phosphatidyl choline. The size and size distribution of the liposomes was controlled by composition of solvents which composed of ethylene glycol, butylenes glycol and propylene glycol. Bovine serum albumin (BSA) was used as a model protein to evaluate the encapsulation into the liposome. The encapsulation efficiency and stability of liposomes containing bovine serum albumin (BSA) were investigated under various medium conditions. The characterization of the liposome with and without BSA was conducted using scanning electron microscopy, laser light scattering and UV spectroscopy. In conclusions, the particle size and entrapment efficiency of liposomes significantly depended on the composition of mixed solvents and BSA concentration.
