제목 Dendronized Polymer based on azobenzene for Remote-controllable switches
초록 Dendronized polymer based on azobenzene (DP-AZ) was newly designed and successfully synthesized to fabricate remote-controllable actuators. Ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) was used to prepare narrow polydispersity index with high molecular weight. Hierarchical structures of DP-AZ were investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), polarized optical microscopy (POM). Molecular structures were identified by small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). Photodynamic behavior of azobenzene moiety was analyzed to show the remote-controllability. To demonstrate photo-responsive reversibility, UV and visible light were irradiated to DP-AZ film and trans-to-cis isomerization was confirmed. Reversible photo-responsive DP-AZ actuator will be practical and useful device in photo-responsive displays and remote-controllable switches.
