제목 Design and optimization of hydrogen liquefaction process
초록 To prevent global warming, the hydrogen has attracting an attention as a renewable energy source. As the volume of hydrogen is significantly decreased when it liquefies, it is efficient to store massive hydrogen as liquid. However, the hydrogen is liquefied at cryogenic temperature (20K) in ambient pressure, it needs a lot of energy to liquefy the hydrogen. This study aims to provide the novel process to liquefy the hydrogen integrated with steam methane reforming(SMR) by utilizing LNG cold energy to cool down the gaseous hydrogen. The process efficiency as well as economics will be assessed and compared with the reference process.
