Nano-sized diketopyrrolopyrroles (DPP) has been used as high quality liquid crystal display (LCD) color filter material due to its unique bluish red and bright hue. The production of nano-sized DPP is dependent on several factors such as reaction temperature, solvent and the presence of a suitable derivatives. DPP has a reddish hue, a high clearness and a high tinting strength as compared with other crystal form DPP. In this study, DPP was synthesized by various process, and chemical structure of DPP was confirmed by utilizing infrared spectroscope. Then it was nano size particle using various condition such as reaction temperature, solvents and dispersion derivatives. The particle size, color difference were evaluate by the means of FE-SEM, PSA and Color meter. |
