Synthesis and Surface Properties of Anionic Surfactants Containning an Isosorbide Moiety. |
| 초록 |
Isosorbide is considered as an important platform material of the starch industry, and it has eco-friendly structure. Amphiphilic substances containing an isosorbide moiety could represent bio-sourced alternatives to surfactants originated from alkylbenzene or alkylphenol derivatives of petrochemical origin. The present study aims to investigate the role of physical and chemical properties of anionic surfactant containing isosorbide. Isosorbide derivatives have been synthesized by alkylation, sulfonation, etc. The synthesized surfactants have been tested to critical micelle concentration, emulsion property, and surface tension. |
