제목 Functionalized Mesoporous Silicas for Selective Adsorption of Copper Ions in Artificial Seawater
초록 We studied on the adsorption of Cu2+ with high selectivity using imprinted ligand moieties-functionalized mesoporous silica materials in the artificial seawater. Imprinted ligand moieties were synthesized on the mesopore surface of SBA-15 via complexation process of Co2+ and chemical combination of amine group and epichlorohydrin. Mesoporous silica, SBA-15 with imprinted ligands was ascertained by XRD, TEM and BET for the well-retained mesostructure and by FTIR and UV-vis spectra for the functionalized ligands. After leaching out of Co2+, the absorbent was used for the selective adsorption of Cu2+ ion in solution with various metal ions (Cr2+, Ni2+, Co2+, Cu2+ and Li+) using artificial seawater as solvent. The selectivity of metal ions was 69 % for Cu2+, 21 % for Cr2+, 5 % for Ni2+, 3 % for Li+ and 2 % for Co2+, respectively. The high selectivity toward Cu2+ of Co2+-imprinted ligands may be due to the distorted ligand structure after leaching out of Co2+.
