제목 Effects of silica nanoparticle on isothermal crystallization behavior of poly(ethylene terephthalate)
초록 Crystallization behavior and rheological properties of silica nanoparticle-filled poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) prepared by melt mixing were investigated. The incorporation of silica nanoparticle decreased the equilibrium melting temperature by ca. 5.5 ℃. The nanocomposites gave greater Avrami exponent (2.7-2.9) than that of PET (2.3). The silica nanoparticle increased storage modulus of PET even at low loading level (0.5-2 wt%). Value of tanδ of PET nanocomposite with 2 wt% silica was lower than the other nanocomposites at the frequency less than 100 rad/s and the effects of the nanoparticle appeared negligible at the frequencies higher than 100 rad/s. On the Cole-Cole plot PET showed a single master curve regardless of the presence of silica nanoparticle. At particularly low frequency, the relaxation times of PET/silica nanocomposites were longer than that of pure PET.
