제목 Thermodynamic Approach of the Ionic Conductivity of Lithium Salt in Solid Polymer Electrolyte/salt System in Lithium Secondary Battery
초록 Ionic conductivity of lithium salt in solid polymer electrolyte (SPE)/salt system is not easy to predict theoretically because there are non-ideal behavior in transport phenomena and phase complexity. Phase characterization and especially phase diagram representation of SPE/salt systems, has appeared to be of some importance in the understanding of polymer electrolyte. We introduce activity of the lithium salt in SPE/salt system by the modified double lattice-nonrandom-Pitzer-Debye-Hückel (MDL-NR-PDH) model and derive the ionic conductivity equation by relating this model to diffusion equation. Phase transition is also taken into account in the ionic conductivity equation by introducing the crystallinity of the polymer chain. Experimental data is fitted to deduce the model parameters that have physical meaning. Especially for the PEO/NaCF3SO3 system, diffusion parameter deduced from the diffusion data is used to predict the ionic conductivity for the same system, and it is concluded that this approach has appropriate thermodynamic meaning and shows good results.
