The sizes of colloidal particles in dimethylformamide(DMF) of the poly(styrene-co-methacrylic acid) copolymers containing 3.6, 5.5 and 9.6 mol% were determined using dynamic light scattering instrument. It was observed that for the solution concentration 2.0 x 10-2 g/mL the size of particles lightly decreased from ca. 12 nm to 10 nm with increasing ion contents from 3.6 mol% to 9.6 mol%. However, in the case of the solution concentration 2.0 x 10-3 g/mL, the size of the particles decreased from ca. 17 nm to 13 nm with increasing ion contents form 3.6 to 9.6 mol%. |
