PVA/PEDOT coaxial nanofibers with different diameters were fabricated on interdigitated electrode by vapor deposition polymerization mediated electrospinning method. The structure and morphology were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, which indicated that the PVA/PEDOT coaxial nanostructures were successfully fabricated. The electrical response of the chemical sensor based on the composite nanofibers were investigated at ambient condition. The sensing magnitude of the chemical sensor was dependent on the diameters of electrospun nanofibers, which was related to the difference in the surface-to-volume ratio of the fibers. Furthermore, the feeding rate of monomer and oxidant concentration played an crucial role in controlling the sensitivity of the chemical sensor |
