제목 Electrochemical and Luminescent Surface Coatable Carbon Dots for The Detection and NIR-induced Photolysis of Bacteria
초록 A surface-coatable fluorescencecarbon dot (CDf) is fabricated and loaded with Near-Infrared (NIR)responsive cesium tungsten oxide (CsWO3) for the purpose of bacteriadetection and antibacterial activity. The loaded carbon dot (CW-CDf)shows bright fluorescence which is quenched after the interaction with thebacterial cell wall. This interaction also leads to an increase in theresistance value which can be detected electrochemically and using a real timewireless sensing system. Outstanding antibacterial activity is observed withtwo kinds of bacteria, E. coli and S. aureus after CW-CDfis exposed to NIR irradiation. The surface coatable CW-CDf offers adual bacteria detection system via the electrochemical and fluorescentapproach coupled with excellent antibacterial activity.
