Preparation of coaxial carbon nanofiber/Mn3O4 nanocables as a counter material for dye sensitized solar cell |
초록 |
The coaxial carbon nanofiber/Mn3O4 nanocables as catalysts of CE (counter electrode) for dye sensitized solar cells were prepared by an electrospinning, and followed by annealing treatment in air. The mesoporous Mn3O4 shell leads to facilitating diffusion and reduction of triiodide ions. Because performance of DSSCs is mainly related to catalytic activity and surface area of counter material. The conversion efficiency of coaxial carbon nanofiber/Mn3O4 nanocables was higher than that of bare carbon nanofiber, due to catalytic ability and mesoporous morphology of Mn3O4 shell on carbon nanofiber for reduction I3- in iodide/triiodide redox reaction. |
