Polyolefin is one of the inexpensive materials to reduce costs and also to provide better functional characteristic than with current matterials. Polyolefin foams are materials that comprise a cellular core structure created by the blowing agent. Polyolefin foams are used in sports, leisure, automobiles and packaging. In this study, the effect of the variables of the process, such as the content of the blowing agent, the crosslinking agent was investigated. Polyolefin samples were prepared using a internal mixer. The cellular morphological analysis was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The foam density was determined by the ASTM D792. |
