제목 | IrCoOx/C nanoparticles as high-activity and durable electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction in neutral medium |
초록 | The electroreduction of CO2 to chemicals represents a promising pathway for the storage of renewable electricity and toward low-carbon-footprint chemicals production. Typically, the electrochemical reduction of CO2 is carried out in neutral or slightly alkaline solutions because such environment facilitates the formation of the formate ion (HCO2-), which is a reaction intermediate in the CO2 hydrogenation pathway. Hence, the oxygen evolving as a counter reaction of CO2RR is also reacted in neutral electrolyte condition and therefore OER electrocatalyst should be requires in neutral condition. Herein, we measure the OER catalytic activity and stability of carbon black supported IrCo alloy in neutral solution. IrCo/C synthesized by polyol process, have a uniform IrCo nanoparticles with a 2~3 nm diameter. After electrochemical activation in acid condition, dealloyed IrCoOx/C exhibit excellent OER catalytic activity with comparing carbon supported iridium catalyst. |
