제목 Synthesis and characterization Organic Dye Composed of 5'-hexyl-2,2'-Bithiophene and 2,3-dihydro-indene derivative for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell Applications
초록 In recent years, treat efforts have been devoted to the synthesis and property investigation of organic dyes as substitutes for the noble metal complex in dye-sensitized solar cell. This paved a way to our research to synthesis novel organic dyes suitable for dye-sensitized solar cell application. The organic dye is composed 5'-hexyl-2,2'-Bithiophene and 2,3-dihydro -indene derivative. The structure was established using FT-IR and H-NMR spectroscopy. The optical propertie of the dye was investigated using ultraviolet-absorption. the HOMO, LUMO and bandgap energy were determied from the cyclic voltammetry and absorption spectroscopy. The photovoltaic properties of synthesized organic dye will be discussed.
