The Development of short stopping agent, IPHA |

Short stopping agents are widely used to terminate the free-radical emulsion polymerizations of SBR/NBR. DEHA (N,N-Diethylhydroxylamine) and SDD (Sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate) are Tertiary amine compounds. Tertiary amine in short stopping agent induce environmentally harmful material nitrosamine. So our research team has developed nitrosamine-free short stopping secondary amine agent IPHA (Iso-propylhydroxylamine). This short stopping agent does not lead to the formation of nitrosamines. |
