제목 Carbon-based nanofillers on rheological and electrical properties of polystyrene nanocomposites
초록 Carbon-based nanofillers, such as carbon nanotube (CNT), graphene oxide (GO) and graphite nanoplatelet (GNP) were introduced to compare the effect of nanofillers on the rheological and electrical properties polystyrene (PS) nanocomposites. PS-nanofiller nanocomposites were prepared through the latex technology for PS latex and nanofiller utilizing freeze-drying the dispersed suspension. CNT and GNP were used without chemical modification. GO was synthesized by using the modified Hummers method from a commercial graphite. PS-CNT nanocomposites showed enhanced rheological and electrical properties after physical dispersion with surfactant. PS-GO nanocomposites also showed enhanced properties in spite of the deterioration of intrinsic properties by strong acid treatment. However, PS-GNP nanocomposites did not show such enhancement due to stacks of graphene sheets.
