제목 Highly Efficient Hole Transporting Layer-Free Low Bandgap Mixed Pb-Sn Perovskite Solar Cells Enabled by a Binary Additive System
초록 Developing high performance hole transporting layer (HTL)-free perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has been a pioneering goal toward the commercialization of PSCs. Unfortunately, low bandgap mixed Pb-Sn perovskites have been rarely explored in simplified HTL-free device configurations. In this study, the poor hole transfer and vulnerability to defects impeding efficient charge transfer across the interface between perovskite and ITO are mediated by the binary additive system using copper thiocyanate (CuSCN) and glycine hydrochloride (GlyHCl). Energy-level alignment at the hole extractive interface is modulated in favor of facilitating hole extraction by CuSCN. Suppressed non-radiative carrier recombination in the perovskite bulk or across the charge extractive interface is further realized by GlyHCl. As a result, the best-performing HTL-free mixed Pb-Sn PSC shows an efficiency above 20%, comparable to state-of-the-art high-performance full-structured mixed Pb-Sn PSCs.
