In recent years, studies on alternative materials instead of PEDOT:PSS in polymer solar cells (PSCs) have researched actively due to disadvantages in an aspect to device stability. But nevertheless, PEDOT:PSS is still useful material in many points such as good conductivity, low-temperature processible material, tuning work function easily for adjusting to fit HOMO level of a certain donor polymer compared to alternative candidates. In this study, we found a satisfactory solution result, which satisfy the benefits of PEDOT:PSS and necessity of PSCs device stability with inserting ultra-thin tungsten oxide by simple solution process between ITO and PEDOT:PSS layer as a hybrid hole extraction layer (H-HEL), which yielded dramatically improved device stability and a little bit power conversion efficiency in PSCs. |
