Colloidal quantum dots (QDs) are semiconductor nanocrystals that are affected by the quantum confinement effect. Although QDs have been actively studied and developed for 30 years, an understanding of the surfaces is still lagging, especially in III-V QD. In our work, we show the controllable colloidal growth in colloidal InP quantum dots based on the well-defined surface energy. This result show that the understanding of the quantum dot surface could be used as a tool to control of colloidal growth. |
