Control of Molecular Weight using the Reverse Iodine Transfer Polymerization (RITP) Technique - Soap free Emulsion Polymerization with various kinds of initiators and monomers |
초록 |
The RITP (Reverse Iodine Transfer Polymerization) technique - soap free emulsion polymerization - is successfully performed using the different initiators and monomers under nitrogen atmosphere for 10 hours at 80℃. We studied about the effect of the initiator and monomer. We experiment with using the different initiators such as KPS, APS and NaPS and Styrene, MMA and BA were used for monomer. When the changes of initiators and monomers, using the KPS and Styrene were showed the best effect of conversion and Molecular weight. The properties of the particles size were investigated by means of SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) and the molecular weight analyzed by GPC(Gel Permeation Chromatography). |
