제목 Synthesis and Properties of Bismuth Telluride(Bi2Te3) nanotubes by solvothermal method
초록 Thermoelectric materials are very attractive materials recently as an alternative energy source. Bi2Te3, and its alloys are very important thermoelectric materials used in the 200~400K temperature range. In this study, Bi2Te3 was synthesized by solvothermal method. Te nanowires are used for template. Nanotube shape is induced by removal of unreacted Te. Following the synthesizing Te nanowires, alloying process to form Bi2Te3 is progressed. Morphology of Te nanowires is affected by synthesis temperature conditions. Also, because final products that have a form of nanotubes depend on Te nanowires template, when Te nanowires are synthesized in various temperature conditions, Bi2Te3 nanotubes having different sizes and shapes are fabricated. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).
