제목 Low-Bandgap Conjugated Polymers with Novel Electron Acceptor for Efficient Photovoltaic Applications
초록 Novel electron acceptor such as N-alkyl-2,7-dithia-5-aza-cyclopenta[a]pentalene-4,6-dione(DTPD) based polymer was designed by stille coupling reaction. Ethylhexyl group substituted with BDT polymer (PEBDTPD) shows high short circuit current (~13.6 mA/cm^2), octyl group substituted with BDT polymer (POBDTPD) shows high fill factor. Moreover, we studied optical, electochemical properties. New electron acceptor as DTPD unit has strong electron accepting property lead to low band gap (LBG), two polymers showed strong absorption from 400 to 800 nm. Also, PEBDTPD and POBDTPD has narrow band gap 1.40 eV and 1.34 eV respectively. Organic photovoltaic performance based on polymers were evaluated with configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/Active layer/TiO2/Al. Power conversion efficiency(PCE) of up to 5% were achieved under AM 1.5G simulated solar light (100 mW cm^-2). Our research suggest that DTPD presenting suitable electron-withdrawing groups are promising photovoltaic materials.
