제목 Molecular design strategy of self-healing materials for next generation soft electronics
초록 In this presentation, I will first show my approaches to toughen self-healable network2 to use for soft electronic applications. The toughened self-healing materials realize exceptional mechanical properties such as notch-insensitive high stretchability, high toughness of 12,000 J/m2, and autonomous self-healing even in aquatic environment. Second, I will talk about how to impart electronic functionalities to self-healable polymer network using nanomaterials.  Based on this self-healable conductive material, I was able to fabricate various functional electronic devices and integrate them in a single platform capable of monitoring physiological signals and displaying feedback information will be discussed as well. Finally, I will show unexplored opportunities in interconnection technologies in soft electronics by the use of self-healable materials, which allow the users to design and construct their own electronics (modular and reconfigurable electronics).
