제목 | A Study on Amino Acid Additives to Inhibit Ammonia Escape and Improve SO2 Absorption Performance |
초록 | Ammonia solution has attracted attentions because it has advantages of higher SO2 removal efficiency than general alkali absorbents. However, the use of ammonia solutions has the serious disadvantage of ammonia escape. Therefore, many researchers have been studying on the use of additives to inhibit ammonia escape. In this study, the effect of inhibiting ammonia escape and improving SO2 absorption performance was investigated by using 4 kinds of amino acids as additives. In addition, the possibility of applying the membrane contactor process for SO2 removal by measuring the surface tension of the ammonia solution with amino acids was also discussed. As a result, the use of the amino acid was obviously effective in inhibiting ammonia escape and improving the SO2 absorption performance than only ammonia solution. In addition, the surface tension was also improved, which is considered to be beneficial in lowering the wetting phenomenon of the membrane contactor. |
