제목 Characteristics of MicroHole Discharge Jet operated at an atmospheric pressure and underwater and its application to bacterial sterilization
초록 This paper presents a simple structure of MicroHole Discharge (MHD) Jet operated both an atmospheric pressure and underwater. The properties of MHD jet were specified in detail through electrical and optical analysis. Moreover, the differences of characteristics at the conditions of an atmospheric pressure and underwater were compared. For observing the characteristics at the underwater conditions, cylinder type reactor with circulation flow was developed and MHD jets were arranged in the direction of tangent in the reactor. Lastly, bacterial sterilization effects of this device was observed.
