Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) of metallic nanoparticles, especially gold nanoparticles is a powerful technique to detect meaningful biological species. So, efficient methods to immobilize a ligand such as antibody, DNA, etc has been required for this promissing biosensor flatform. Here, we evaluate four different linker systems for the antibody immobilization by comparing antibody density, antibody orientation and signal changes obtained from LSPR measurement. SEM, AFM , fluorescence microscopy, etc were used for this purpose. |
