| 제목 | New Iron Age with the Rise of 5G Telecommunications - Smart Factory, Smart Mobility, and Smart City |
| 초록 | Historically, the advancement of scientific technologies has resulted in social transformation. The industrial revolution has brought profound changes to lifestyles that had been stable for centuries. In the First Industrial Revolution, steam engines created values through mass production. In the Second and Third Industrial Revolutions, the introduction of electricity and IT-based automation technology resulted in breakthroughs in the production. Mass production cut costs and eventually expanded markets and increased sales. However, at the same time, it red to the reckless use of energy and resources, giving rise to several environmental and social issues. The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Data Revolution) will also drive seismic changes in the lives of people with the advent of 5G telecommunications that can better apply the fule value of data. Smart factory, smart mobility and smart city are the exaples of the applications. In this presentation, it will be addressed how these revolutionary changes will go along with steel industry.
