Patent trend analysis is a management forecasting tool that can be useful in R&D planning and new product development, and patent analysis can indicate the growth pattern of a technology and the technological shift that are occurring. The Competitive Analysis has long been considered as a useful tool for mining latent technological information. In this paper, we propose a patent analysis method for technology forecasting of the Solar Cells using objective Competitive Analysis data. Competitive Analysis systematized and distribution according to nations and technological from various points of view. The current of Solar Cells development in such countries as Korea, USA, Japan, China and EU was analyzed by classifying the patents according to registration country, assignee, calendar year and technology area. |
