Effect of various organifiers on the dispersion of clay layers in HTPB. |
| 초록 |
In this research, six kinds of organo-clays are used to form HTPB/organo-clay nanocomposite. All 6 organifiers in organo-clays have amine group in common and are divided into two groups. Each group has three organifiers. First group has three organo modifiers with different hydrophobic lengths and is selected to investigate the effect of length of organifiers on the dispersion of clay layers in HTPB. Second group has di-hydroxyl group and the organifiers in this group have much more possibilities to interact with HTPB due to their hydroxyl group. The percentage of organifier in organo-clay is calculated with thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The size and degree of d-spacing of organo-clay is examined by wide-angle x-ray diffraction(WAXD). |
