Until recently, various research works concerning the effective and stable delivery of functional materials had been carried out in a number of potential fields. A variety of method to carry active materials have been reported such as, micelles, nanocapsules, lipid and polymeric vesicles. In regard to these techniques, skin permeation and stability of O/W or W/O/W emulsions have been widely explored for various cosmetic and dermatological applications, since it can be safely produced by emulsification method. In this study, we demonstrate transdermal permeation into the skin and stability of nano-capsulated Vitamin emulsions based on biodegradable tri-block copolymers, poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(ε-capro lactone)-poly(ethylene glycol)[PEG-PCL-PEG]. Effects of molecular weight and lipophilicity of biodegradable tri-block copolymers were investigated. |
