Improved LED Performance of Binary Blends of Silane-Containing Polyfluorene Derivatives and Organosilicate |

To reduce interchain π-π interactions between aromatic moieties of rigid rod-like polyfluorenes which tend to stack cofacially with each other, novel binary blends of silane-containing polyfluorene and organosilicate were prepared. Silane-containing polyfluorene was prepared to enhance molecular interaction between organosilicate which effectively reduced excimer formation between the neighboring polyfluorene chains. Blends of these two components were prepared by solution blending which were transferred into a vacuum oven to obtain the final polymeric mixture. UV spectrophotometer and photoluminescence were used to conform the performance of the blend films improvement. |
