Biomedical adhesives currently sold for medical use are mostly composed of synthetic materials. These materials have been widely used since they were developed, because they harden rapidly and have high adhesion strength. However, due to its high toxicity, bad smell and bioincompatible, it is difficult to use in vivo. From this point of view, this study has attempted to make adhesives using marine organims byproducts as a countermeasure to solve these problems. Biobased adhisevie contains serveralf materials to improve adhesion and preservation, mainly including yellow tuna skin extract. The biobased adhesive was evaluated for its effectiveness by measuring adhesive strength and cytotoxicity. |
