제목 Properties of flexible polyurethane foams prepared from recycled polyols obtained by glycolysis of polyurethane wastes
초록   The flexible polyurethane (PU) foam wastes can be depolymerized by glycolysis and the polyols for the PU foams can be recovered. However, the incorporations of the recovered polyols to the flexible PU foam systems are limited due to the high reactivity resulting from the amine derivatives in the recovered polyols. In this study. amines in the recovered polyols were modified by the formylation reaction and the effects of the deaminated recycled polyols on the properties of flexible PU foams were investigated.

  The recycled polyols could be incorporated into the polyols for the flexible PU foams up to 50% (by wt.) of polyols. It was found that the flexible PU foams prepared from the mixture of recycled polyol and virgin polyol displayed the higher air permeability compared with the flexible PU foams prepared from the virgin polyol.
