We fabricated 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMIMPF6)/Nylon 6,6 composite nanofibers by electrospinning. SEM, FT-IR, resistivity meter were used to investigate the effect of BMIMPF6 on nylon 6,6. Subsequently, the fabricated nanofibers were deposited on an interdigitated electrode. To confirm the ability as a chemical sensing material, the BMIMPF6/Nylon 6,6 interdigitated electrode was exposed to organic vapours. The resistance of the interdigitated electrode showed significant change and recovered when it exposed to the air. |
