Microalgae production system have mainly been limited to batch culture. For economic reasons this may not be the most appropriate approach.Continuous culture and Semicontinuous culture culture of microalgae Chlorella sp. is described. Dilution rate, cell density, productivity were investigated in a laboratory scale single-stage continuous culture. In continuous culture, dilution rate is specific growth of batch culture. At the experimental date of batch culture, specific growth rate is 0.005h-1. |
