제목 Thermochromic Reversibility in Ultrasensitive Polydiacetylene Supramolecules
초록 We report here on the thermochromic properties of conjugated polydiacetylene (PDA) supramolecules derived from the lithium salt of 10,12-pentacosadiynoic acid (PCDA). A homogeneous solution was obtained upon heating an aqueous solution of PCDA and lithium acetate to 60 oC. Cooling this solution to room temperature yielded white Li-PCDA as the precipitate. Thus synthesized Li-PCDA was extremely sensitive to UV irradiation; blue PDA could be obtained with just one second of UV treatment (254 nm, 1 mJ/cm2). More interestingly, the PDA supramolecules obtained from Li-PCDA exhibited reversible thermochromism. An irradiated blue PDA film changed to red on heating, and regained the original blue color upon removal of the heat source.
