Syndiotactic poly(vinyl alcohol) (s-PVA)/sodium alginate (SA)/silver nanocomposite were successfully prepared by electrospinning. To precisely identify tacticity effect of PVA for s-PVA/SA/silver nanocomposite, we prepared two types of s-PVA with same number-averaged degree of polymerization (Pn) of 2200 and degree of saponification (DS) of 99.6% and with different syndiotactic diad (s-diad) contents of 55.0 and 57.5%, respectively. In electronspinning, we focused on the effect of the addition amount of silver colloidal solution on the s-PVA/SA/silver nanocomposite when performed a series of experiments varying processing parameters and experimental parameters, the amount of silver content, s-PVA/SA blend ratios. The structure and morphology of s-PVA/SA/silver nanocomposite were investigated under various instrumental analysis methods including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). |
