Polymeric materials with high dielectric constants for electronic applications are of great interest for a broad range of applications such as actuators, artificial muscles, resistors, capacitors and inductors. Polyimide (PI) / Polyaniline (PANI) composites with different PANI contents were successfully prepared by in situ polymerization of polyimide (chemical & thermal imidization) and fully characterized. The dispersity of PANI within polyimide matrices and surface morphology was observed by SEM. The effect of PANI loading levels on various properties was also explored. Dielectric and electrical properties of PI / PANI composites were studied on MIM device samples using by impedance analyzer. More details will be discussed in our presentation. |
