In this study, aligned carbon nanofibers (CNF) was fabricated by electrospinning technique in order to use as a supercapacitor electrode. Preferentially the random and aligned polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofibers were fabricated by electrospinning. When the rpm of high rotary collector's speed is more than 2000, we are able to get well aligned CNF. The randomly oriented and aligned PAN nanofibers are carbonized in tube furnace at 900 oC. Due to unique properties such as electrical conductivity and surface area based on aligned nanostructure, the electrochemical property of aligned CNF was increased. The outstanding electrochemical properties of aligned CNF were investigated cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge/discharge test, and electrochemical impedance analysis (EIS). |
