제목 Selective Bicarbonate Formation in CO2 Absorption Process Using Secondary Cyclic Amines
초록 Amine-based CO2 absorption is known as one of the practical method for post combustion CO2 capture(PCC). In continuation effort to develop more efficient PCC process regarding desorption energy as well as capacity, we have focused on the selective formation of carbamate or bicarbonate ions. For the first time, we demonstrated that carbon dioxides were converted into bicarbonate(BC) ions selectively over carbamates(CB) by the reactions with piperidine, pyrrolidine and piperazine derivatives. Initial absorption rates of piperidine and piperazine derivatives were faster than those of MEA. The structure of amines and solvent effect on the BC formation will be represented.
