제목 Preparation and Characterization of Anion-Conducting Ionomers for Fuel Cells
초록 Ionomers could be used as membrane or electrode binder. There is no great limitation for the preparation of membranes using ionomers such as compositing, crosslinking or surface modification and so on. However, ionomer as electrode binder is limited to use. First of all, it is not possible to crosslink ionomers to enhance mechanical strength and to reduce water content since ionomers should be kept in dispersed or dissolved solutions. In this study, crosslinked ionomer as electrode binder is developed for fuel cells by using on-site crosslinking method while the catalyst slurry coated on gas diffusion layer was drying. The quaternized polymers were investigated in terms of FT-IR, NMR, ionic conductivity, cyclic voltammetry and current-voltage curve. Acknowledgment.
