The effect of bisphosphonates surface immobilized on the TiO2 nanotube discs and their interaction with bone cells |
초록 |
The purpose of this study is to modify the nanotube surface of titianium with pamidronate and examine the effect of immobilized pamidronate on the behavior of osteoblastic and osteoclastic cells. Pamidronate (PDA) was covalently immobilized on the surface of titanium disc with nanotube structure(nt-TiO2) through the coupling agent, 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (nt-TiO2-P). The surface characteristics of nt-TiO2-P was examined and compared with nt-TiO2 and Ti disc alone. The potentiality of PDA-immobilized nt-TiO2 discs for use as bone substitutes was assessed by culturing MC3T3-E1 osteoblasts on the discs. |
