제목 Polymer-supported Gadolinium Triflate as a Convenient and Efficient Lewis acid Catalyst for Acetylation of Alcohols and Phenols
초록 Polymer-supported gadolinium triflate catalyst was easily prepared from chloromethyl polystyene (CMPS) resin using a simple and convenient procedure. This polymeric catalyst was used as a Lewis acid catalyst for the acetylation of various alcohols and phenols with acetic anhydride. The reactions were completed in a short time with small amounts of the catalyst. Moreover, after the reaction, the catalyst could be quantitatively recovered by simple washing and filtration. The catalyst was reused over ten times without any significant loss of its catalytic activity.
